What is the role of the probe in ultrasound diagnostic equipment

Ultrasonic imaging works very similar to the way sonar works, using high-frequency sound waves as its imaging sound source, the ultrasound is the reflected sound waves of the human tissue structure being examined. The ultrasound probe that performs the sweep is an electroacoustic transducer. It will be emitted in the instrument of high-frequency electrical signals, through the vibration of the crystal of the probe device, transformed into ultrasound, into the human body tissues; and then reflected back to ultrasound, in the ultrasound probe crystal, and then ultrasound into high-frequency electrical signals, by the fluorescent screen to display it.
