Emergency Center of Zhangjiakou First Hospital

The 120 Emergency Center of the First Hospital of Zhangjiakou City was established in 1985, which is the only medical institution specializing in first aid work in Zhangjiakou City, and is responsible for pre-hospital first aid and transfer of patients with acute and critical illnesses in urban areas and surrounding counties, emergency rescue of major emergencies such as car accidents and landslides, as well as popularization of the knowledge of first aid and training tasks. In recent years, the medical environment and rescue equipment of the City 120 Emergency Center has been greatly improved, and the center is now equipped with a rescue room, emergency operating room, gastric lavage room, infusion room, laboratory, ultrasound room and command and dispatch center. The center is equipped with advanced rescue transfer beds, multi-parameter monitors, electrocardiographs, ventilators, gastric lavage machines and other emergency equipment, and a full range of rescue medicines. The city 120 command and dispatch center is equipped with advanced GPS satellite positioning system, which makes the first aid more timely and effective. All eight ambulances are equipped with electrocardiographs, oxygen cylinders and emergency medicines. Doctors, nurses and drivers are always on call and ready to respond 24 hours a day.

The city's 120 emergency center receives more than 30,000 emergency (outpatient) consultations every year, and makes more than 5,000-6,000 visits, with the success rate of rescue reaching more than 95%, especially in major emergencies and car accidents, 4-5 ambulances go out at the same time, and take back countless patient's lives from the death line.
