About Skiing
Shennongjia has a high altitude, wide view, many snow trails, rich tourism resources, and unique and fascinating snow and ice tourism resources. Shennongjia Ski Resort was built in 2004 in response to the State General Administration of Sport's concept of "North Snow South Exhibition". It is located in Hubei Shennongjia National Forest Park, 30 kilometers away from the Muyu Provincial Tourism Resort. As the State General Administration of Sports "North Snow Show South" concept of an important initiative, Shennongjia ski resort has a unique resource advantage. Among them, the most challenging senior ski track is 980 meters long, with a vertical drop of 280 meters, a maximum slope of 30 degrees, and an average slope of 15 degrees; the beginner track designed for the first experience of skiing is more than 200 meters long, with an average slope of 6-8 degrees. In order to meet the needs of snowboarding enthusiasts, the ski resort has also set up a snowboarding park, where you can enjoy the wonderful experience of snowboarding synchronized with the world. The ski resort has 3 large towed lifts and 3 ordinary towed lifts, with an hourly transportation capacity of 2,000 people, 3,000 sets of snow recreation equipment and more than 20 professional coaches.
