Bylaws of the Measures for the Administration of Hygienic Protection of Radiation Work

Radiation work, as referred to in these Measures, means work engaged in the production, use and sale of radioisotopes and radiation devices, excluding work engaged in radioisotopes with activities below the exemption level.

Medium and high-energy gas pedals are those with particle energies higher than 100 MeV.

Gamma irradiation processing device, refers to radiation sterilization of medical supplies, agricultural breeding, industrial product processing, food preservation, as well as radiation research with gamma radioactive source devices. These measures shall come into force on July 1, 2002. May 29, 1981 by the Ministry of Health issued "medical high-energy X-rays and electron beam health protection regulations", November 26, 1986 by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Petroleum Industry, jointly issued by the "oil (gas) field logging with the use of closed radioactive sources", January 10, 1991 by the Ministry of Health issued the "non-medical gas pedal radiation health management measures Measures for the Administration of Non-Medical Accelerator Radiation Hygiene" issued by the Ministry of Health on January 10, 1991, "Administrative Provisions on Radiation Hygiene Protection for Gamma Irradiation Processing Devices" issued by the Ministry of Health on April 26, 1991, "Measures for the Administration of Radiation Hygiene for Well Logging of Unsealed Radiation Sources in Oil (Gas) Fields" issued jointly by the Ministry of Health and China National Petroleum Corporation on September 14, 1991, "Regulations on the Administration of Radiation Hygiene for Diagnostic Radiological Hygiene of X-Ray for Medical Use and Imaging Quality Assurance Management Regulations" and May 15, 1995 issued by the Ministry of Health, "radiation therapy health protection and quality assurance management regulations" shall be repealed simultaneously.
