The School of Stomatology has one provincial key discipline (Stomatology), two school-level key disciplines (Oral Basic Medicine, Neurology), three master's degree authorization points (Oral Clinical Medicine, Neurology, Oral Basic Medicine), one provincial key course (Oral Internal Medicine), one school-level key course (Oral Prosthodontics), four faculty level key courses (Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Histopathology, Oral Anatomy and Physiology, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery), three scientific research institutes (Heilongjiang Institute of Stomatology, Jiamusi University Institute of Medical Materials, Jiamusi University Institute of Neuroscience), is the largest medical treatment, teaching and research base of stomatology in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province.
The college has 13 teaching and research departments, 3 comprehensive laboratories (including 8 specialized laboratories with a floor area of about 700 square meters), 8 internship bases, and 24 medical departments. The total value of existing teaching and research equipment is 9.31 million yuan. The newly-built affiliated hospital building has a floor area of 23,000 square meters, which is equipped with 9 classrooms for students' production practice, a multimedia classroom, and 6 special consulting rooms for students' production practice.
The library of the college has a collection of 1,500 books and more than 25,000 professional periodicals.
The college has 87 teachers. Among them, 23 are full-time teachers, including 9 professors, 4 associate professors, 3 lecturers and 7 assistant professors. There are 64 part-time faculty members, including 13 professors, 22 associate professors, 11 lecturers and 18 assistant professors. There are 3 teachers with doctoral degree and 4 teachers studying for doctoral degree in the faculty; 12 teachers with master's degree and 8 teachers studying for master's degree.
The college has 819 students. Among them, there are 102 master's degree students, 319 students majoring in dentistry, 102 students majoring in restorative dentistry craftsmanship, 113 students majoring in medical plastic surgery and aesthetics, and 183 students majoring in restorative dentistry technology.

The College of Medicine has been in operation since 2005, when the 23,000-square-meter modernized teaching and medical building was put into use, and the development of the College entered a brand-new stage. 2011 July, the hospital was promoted to a Grade 3A hospital under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Health and the Party Committee of Jiamusi University.
