Safety equipment, mainly refers to the safety of production and operation activities to protect employees and other participants to prevent production and safety accidents and in the event of production and safety accidents for rescue and the installation of machinery and equipment, such as self-rescuers used in mines, fire-fighting equipment and a variety of safety detection instruments, such as safety detection systems, gas detectors, wind instrumentation, oxygen detector, roof pressure monitoring instruments, etc. Safety equipment is either as a subsidiary equipment of production and operation equipment needs to be used in conjunction with these equipment; some are able to play an independent role in ensuring safety in production. Monitoring instruments, etc., safety equipment, some of which are ancillary equipment for production and operation equipment, need to be used in conjunction with such equipment; some of which are able to play an independent role in ensuring safe production. These safety equipments need to be equipped in the production and operation activities in accordance with the relevant requirements of the state, in order to ensure the production safety and accident rescue smoothly.
Safety equipment can be generally divided into the following categories:
1, firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, water curtain walls, pipe network systems, pumps, pools and so on.
2, emergency rescue equipment, including: medical emergency equipment, emergency lighting systems, personnel rescue equipment.
3, safety monitoring equipment, including: combustible gas detection system, flame detection system.
4, facility safety and security equipment, including: interlock shutdown system, pressure and other safety valves, liquid level and other control parameters monitoring and alarm system, lifting equipment limiters.
5, personal protection equipment, including: safety belts, respirators, protective clothing.
