Medical institutions set up laboratories need to apply for metrological certification?

This is related to the local regulatory requirements. The vast majority are not required, but individual cities also exist this phenomenon. Our unit in the country has a chain of 20 medical institutions, only Xi'an has this requirement (all test equipment have to deal with metrological certification, as well as the payment of the relevant testing costs), other cities have not appeared this requirement.
