Chapter I General Provisions

Article 4 Nature of education: public full-time ordinary schools of higher education

Chapter II Admissions Organization

Article 8 The College has set up an Admissions Committee with the president as the director, which is in charge of the College's admissions work, formulates admissions policies and plans, and decides on major matters related to admissions.

Chapter III Rules of Admission

Article 11 The admission policies and relevant regulations formulated by the Ministry of Education and the admission authorities of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities shall be implemented.

Article 12 The ideological, political and moral character assessment of the candidates shall meet the requirement of passing.

Article XIII non-parallel volunteering provinces, districts and cities: 1. Priority will be given to the first-volunteer candidates, and non-first-volunteer candidates may be admitted if the first-volunteer source of students is insufficient. 2. Article XIV Aksu Vocational and Technical College's requirements for candidates' physical fitness shall be carried out according to the Guidelines for Physical Examination for Admission to Ordinary Colleges and Universities issued by the Ministry of Education and the relevant supplementary regulations.

Article 15 Candidates from ethnic minority areas and candidates enjoying the care policy shall be taken care of in accordance with the relevant provisions of the local provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) recruitment office, and the care range shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the local education examination institute.

Article 16 There is no restriction on foreign languages, but the college arranges for the teaching of English as the first foreign language after the new students enter the college.

Article 17 In principle, there is no restriction on the ratio of male and female students in the admission majors, and former students are treated equally with freshmen in the admission.

Article 20 New students admitted in accordance with the national enrollment regulations, holding the admission notice, according to the relevant requirements of the College and the specified period to the College for enrollment procedures. Those who cannot enroll on time for any reason shall ask for leave of absence from the college. Those who fail to apply for leave of absence or whose leave of absence is overdue shall be regarded as giving up the qualification for enrollment, except for justifiable reasons such as force majeure.

Article 21 After the admission of new students, the College will conduct a review within three months in accordance with the national enrollment regulations. If a student is found to have committed fraud or favoritism in the review, he or she will be disqualified from the review and will be disqualified from the school; if the case is serious, the school will transfer it to the relevant departments for investigation and treatment; if a student is found to be physically and mentally unfit for school, he or she can be retained if he or she has been diagnosed as needing to recuperate at home in a hospital designated by the school as being at grade two or above, he or she will be disqualified from the admission process. The procedures and methods of the review shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations of the college.

Chapter IV Admission and Registration

Article 22 Freshmen Reporting Freshmen admitted in accordance with the national enrollment regulations, with the admission notice, according to the relevant requirements of the school and the stipulated period to the school for enrollment procedures. Article 23 Students who are unable to enroll in the university on time due to special circumstances such as joining the military or physical reasons may apply for retention of their enrollment status. The conditions and duration of the retention of enrollment qualification shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Student Management of Aksu Institute of Vocational and Technical Sciences, and the procedures for the retention of enrollment qualification shall be completed within one week of the new students' enrollment.

Chapter V Charging Standards

Article 24 The charges of Aksu Institute of Vocational Technology are strictly in accordance with the standards approved by the Price Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Article 28 Upon graduation, the college's specialist students may, according to the requirements of the "Measures for Selection and Management of Outstanding Specialist Students of Ordinary Higher Education in the Autonomous Region for Undergraduate Studies", participate in the helicopter examination organized by the undergraduate colleges and universities to enter undergraduate institutions, with a study period of two years, and upon graduation, with qualified grades, obtain the undergraduate graduation certificate and the bachelor's degree.
