According to CNS 15663, the RoHS marking requirements for products are as follows:
1. BSMI certificate holders must clearly mark the presence of restricted hazardous substances on the product body, packaging, nameplate, or the product's instruction manual, in accordance with the requirements of Section 5, "Containment Labeling," of CNS 15663. The presence of restricted hazardous substances shall be clearly labeled on the product body, packaging, nameplate, or product instructions.
2. For those products that choose to declare the presence of RoHS-restricted hazardous substances on the company's web site information, the company's web site must be clearly identified on the product body, packaging, nameplate, or product instructions.
3. The identification code for the Mark of Merchandise Inspection consists of the letter R or T, a designated 5-digit code, and the presence of the hazardous substance. For example: RoHS or RoHS(XX.XX), the identification code must be placed below or to the right of the commodity inspection mark, and the presence of hazardous substances must be identified on the line below the identification code.
