What does mems mean

MEMS stands for Microelectromechanical Systems.

MEMS full name is Micro? Electromechanical? System, mechanical? System, microelectromechanical system. The size of the high-tech devices not more than a few millimeters, its internal structure is generally micron or nano-scale independent intelligent system, by the sensor, actuator and micro-energy of the three main parts.

Electromechanical systems cover a wide range of disciplines and engineering technologies such as physics, information engineering, bioengineering, etc., and open up a wide range of uses for smart systems, consumer electronics, wearables, smart homes, synthetic biology for systems biotechnology, and microfluidics.

MEMS system advantages:

Microelectromechanical systems are microcircuits and micro-machines integrated on a chip according to the functional requirements, since the rise of the mid-to-late 80's growth has been very rapid, and is considered to be the next microelectronics has a huge impact on the national economy and the military in another field of technology.

Microelectromechanical systems were initially commonly used in automotive airbags, and were later widely used in various areas of automobiles in the form of MEMS sensors. With the development of MEMS technology, as well as the application of terminal "light, thin, short, small" features, the demand for small high-performance MEMS products surge, MEMS products appear in the consumer electronics, medical and other fields.
