A cochlear implant is an electronic device that restores or rebuilds a person's hearing function by directly exciting the auditory nerve through a system of electrodes implanted in the body. From a clinical point of view, it is an electronic device that can replace the function of the human ear, and is currently the main technology for the treatment of congenital severe or very severe hearing impairment, which converts external sound stimulation into neural bioelectricity to stimulate the auditory system and produce sound. If a patient has severe or very severe sensorineural thin, it can usually be treated by cochlear implant surgery. However, before the patient undergoes cochlear implant surgery, he/she needs to go to the hospital to have a relevant ear examination, including hearing, general condition, and so on. Hearing and speech rehabilitation training is needed after the surgery.
