Introduction of the First Affiliated Hospital of Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The First Affiliated Hospital of Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was formally recognized as the Affiliated Hospital of Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine by the Gansu Provincial Government, Provincial Education Commission and Provincial Department of Health in May 1997 to undertake the task of clinical teaching, and to become an important clinical teaching base of the College. The hospital was established in 1953 on the basis of "Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic of Health Department of Gansu Provincial People's Government", and was formally listed as Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in December 1956, which was recognized as a Grade 3A TCM hospital by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SACTM) in 1995, and became the first Grade 3A TCM hospital in the province. The hospital covers an area of 39,303 square meters, with a total construction area of 71,298 square meters and a medical construction area of 31,565 square meters.
