Current sensors
Hall sensors of the common error generating factors are: half of the body itself due to the characteristics of the semiconductor manufacturing process level, the level of ambient temperature changes, the Hall sensor installation is reasonable, etc., the measurement error is generally manifested in the zero error and temperature error.
Zero error and its compensation
When the Hall element of the excitation current is no longer zero, if the location of the magnetic induction strength is zero. Then the hall potential should still be zero, but in practice, if not zero, then at this time the unloaded hall potential is called zero error.
Temperature error and compensation
Because of the semiconductor material resistivity, mobility and carrier concentration with the temperature and change, with the material made of Hall components of the performance parameters are bound to change with the temperature, resulting in changes in the Hall potential, resulting in temperature error.
In order to reduce the temperature error, in addition to the selection of temperature coefficient 0 smaller materials, but also to take some constant temperature measures. Or use a constant current source or constant voltage source with compensation resistor power supply, which can reduce the internal resistance of the components with temperature changes caused by the control current changes.
