What is the difference between single-stage vacuum pump and double-stage vacuum pump?

One, the characteristics are different

1, two-stage vacuum pump features: the blade groove on the rotor of the front stage pump adopts the oblique blade groove, the maximum closed working space formed by the adjacent two blades (rotor and pump body) increases, which improves the pumping speed. After the front vacuum pump, the rear vacuum pump is connected in series. Harmful space gas in the front vacuum pump is quickly sucked in by the rear vacuum pump to improve the ultimate vacuum of pumping.

2, single-stage vacuum pump features: suction port is installed with a coarse filter of metal wire mesh. It prevents solid particles from being sucked into the pump chamber. The oil separator is equipped with a high-efficiency oil-air separation exhaust changeover switch. When the pump is stopped, a suction valve in the suction port isolates the pump from the pumping system and prevents the vacuum pump oil from returning to the pumping system. The pump is cooled by air.

Two, different scope of application

1, two-stage vacuum pump:

(1) 2X vacuum pump is one of the basic equipments for pumping. It can be used alone or connected with super high vacuum pumps such as booster pump, diffusion pump and molecular pump. It is widely used in electronic device manufacturing, vacuum drying, filtration, impregnation, coating, welding, melting and laboratory equipment.

(2) 2X vacuum pump is allowed to work for a long time in the range of 5-40 ambient temperature with inlet pressure less than 10 torches. When the relative temperature of the pumped gas is greater than 90%, the air ballast valve should be opened.

(3) The inlet of 2X vacuum pump should not work continuously for more than 3 minutes.

(4) 2X vacuum pumps are not suitable for pumping gases that corrode metals, react chemically with pump oil, contain particulate dust, contain excess oxygen, explosive and toxic gases.

2, single-stage vacuum pump:

(1) XD rotary vane vacuum pump is suitable for vacuum pumping of closed system. Such as vacuum packaging, vacuum molding, vacuum attraction and so on.

(2) Inlet pressure range: 100 Pa~100000 Pa, beyond this range working vacuum pump exhaust port will have oil mist generated.XD rotary vane vacuum pump working environment temperature and inhalation gas temperature should be between 5℃~40℃.

(3) XD rotary vane vacuum pump can not pump water or other liquids. Explosive, flammable, excessive oxygen and corrosive gases shall not be removed.

(4) The motors normally supplied are not explosion-proof. If explosion-proof or other special requirements are needed, the motor must comply with the relevant standards.

Double Stage Vacuum Pump working performance consists of the high pressure stage and low pressure stage of the two parts. The suction port of the vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum container or vacuum equipment. During operation, the gas inside the container will be sucked in and discharged in large quantities.
