Toy Soldier Wars

This is a strategy game featuring plastic toys from 3DO Studio. The game is available on 1 CD for Win 95 and is inspired by memories of childhood and the cartoon "Toy Story". The game requires controlling a team of active plastic people in three major campaigns and performing more than 30 different tasks. The opening animation, which features the protagonist Sarge and other toy veterans, is brilliantly animated. The game supports 3Dfx, and the 3D effect is very good. All units are framed in 3D MAX and then colored with textures. The sound effects in the game were recorded by the production team during the U.S. military maneuvers, and are certainly realistic. There are many kinds of weapons in the game, including machine guns, flamethrowers, rockets, etc., with pleasing pyrotechnic effects. There are not only fighters on the battlefield, but also tanks, half-tracks and jeeps. The campaign involves a series of battles across deserts, mountains and bays. The battlefield contains not only your own troops, but also friendly troops, and the enemy troops are brown, gray and blue soldiers. It is necessary to eliminate the troops of the Tang (Tan) encountered, rescue prisoners and even seize enemy tanks. Weapons in the game are divided into 3 categories: standing weapons, special weapons and special equipment. These include grenades, mortars, mines, minesweepers, flamethrowers, rockets and first aid kits. You can only carry one of each type of weapon on a mission. You have to use it up before you can pick up the same type of equipment. No one weapon is invincible, and it is necessary to choose the appropriate weapon for each situation in order to gain the initiative on the battlefield. Shaggy doesn't operate in isolation; he can call for air support, mobilize paratroopers, and conduct aerial reconnaissance flights against enemy positions. Shaggy can drive four types of vehicles, including tanks and trucks, and can mobilize friendly forces to attack or hold positions in times of crisis. Each mission picks up equipment left over from the last mission, giving the game a sense of continuity. Complete Strategy In the world of Toy Soldiers, a dictator named Tan has appeared in Yellow, who has gathered a large number of Yellow troops to launch a surprise attack on Green from the west and south. As Green is unprepared, most of the area is quickly occupied by Tan's troops, and the world of toy soldiers is filled with Tan's troops. Sarge, a sergeant in the Green Army, takes his men with him when he receives orders from his superiors. Desert (Desert) 1. Cactus Flats (Cactus Flats) (1) Munitions Point (Weapon Run). The troops were going to cross the Great Desert, but the team was running out of weapons. HQ orders Shaggy to cross the wooden bridge into the city to the enemy munitions supply point at (B, 2) and wait for orders here. The first level is not too difficult, just eliminate the enemies on the way to (B, 2). (2) Apprentice Assassin. When you arrive at (B,2), you'll learn from the headquarters that an enemy spy will be delivering a piece of information to Don's fortress (this spy is blue), use the scout to find him (in A,2) and kill him, then take the information he's carrying and go back to (B,2). When Shaggy receives the order, enemy soldiers will appear frequently in the hut with two small oil barrels. After eliminating the enemy soldiers, you will also see the blue spy, so take him out and realize that the hut is his destination. Use the Spitfire to destroy the oil drum next to it and get the grenade inside. (3) A Bridge Too Long. After returning to (B, 2), HQ orders you to go to (A, 5) to recapture the tank captured by the enemy and use it to send the information to (F, 3). Shaggy goes to the lower left sector (A, 5), finds the tank in the fence enclosure, blows up the fence with a grenade, presses E to enter the tank, and presses V to see from the map that the way to the sector (F, 3) goes over a bridge (D, 4). The bridge is guarded by many enemies and has 1 jeep and 1 missile soldier across the bridge. Shaggy will drive the tank and blow up the jeep, then reach the camp above the bridge and the mission is complete. 2. Mesa Vakket (1) Follow The Leader. Our troops enter a rocky terrain and the HQ says that troops have been sent to assist them in attacking the enemy base, so tell Shaji to first meet our troops at (A, 1) and lead them to our camp at (F, 1) where he will wait for orders. When Shaggy receives the order, he rushes through the enemy's crossfire points, finds the reinforcements, and leads them to (F, 1). (2) Brute Force (Brute Force). Orders come from HQ that the key to unlock the enemy's secret weapon is in the enemy base at (E, 5), ordering Shaggy to destroy the enemy base, get the key, and rush back to the camp at (F, 1). Shaggy drives the tank to the enemy base at (E, 5), note that there are turrets at the corners of the base, use the crane gun to destroy them. Note that there are also two crane gunners inside the base, don't let the crane gun blow you up, it's a one-hit kill. After destroying the four turrets, blow up the fortress in the center of the base, get the blue key, and return to (E,1) to end the mission. 3. Gaza (Casa) (1) Sarge′s Heroes. We entered the downtown area of Don. Orders came from HQ that this mission was to go through this city to (A, 6) to rendezvous. If you want to make the next mission easier, it is recommended to eliminate all the tanks on the way through the city. (2) Escort. After Shaggy arrives at (A, 6), our troops enter a troop carrier. HQ sends orders that this mission is to protect them to reach the bank. Shaggy follows the advance outside the troop carrier, taking care not to get run over by one of his own men's vehicles. There are no dangers along the way, and they reach the bank without incident. (3) Break Out. After arriving at the bank, the headquarters ordered to blow a gap in front of the bank to protect the soldiers loaded with plastic, and then escort the military vehicle to the southwest exit. Shaggy receives the order to prevent the enemy tanks from attacking by laying mines at the doorway above, to the left, and at the passageway below. After blowing up the bank more than three enemy tanks did come to attack our military vehicles, but were destroyed by the mines that had just been planted. Then escort the military vehicles back to the exit and complete the mission. 4. Winding Canyon (1) Breath Warmed Over. The troops entered the desert in the Grand Canyon, where the terrain is very complicated. HQ sends an order that the blue troops are gathering in the middle of the canyon, ordering Shaggy to escort the plastic loaded on the troop carriers to their destination to exchange information with the blue troops. When Shaggy receives the order, quickly get the crane gun and blow up the entrance behind him, because there will be a tank coming after him from here (the biggest threat in this level is the tank, the minions are not a big threat to the troop carriers), and then take the path to the right to plant mines near (F, 3). There will be a tank here as well, so don't stop after planting the mines and continue on to the path near (B, 1) to plant a mine to blow up the tank here, and finally to the path near (C, 3) to plant a mine to blow up the tank here. These tanks will only appear when the troop carriers are approaching, so do everything before the troop carriers arrive. 2. Out of the Frying Pan After exchanging information with the Blues, you will receive an order from HQ that the mission in the desert has been completed, and that Shaggy should evacuate to the helipad at (B,6) immediately and wait for the helicopter to shuttle him to the forested area. Shaggy arrived at the helipad at (B,6), which was guarded by a number of enemies and two crane gunners. After a fight, he finally boarded the helicopter and headed to the forest area. Alpine (Alpine) 1. Logging Camp (1) Out of the Mountain. HQ called, a group of our soldiers are trapped in (B, 1), they have some important information about the key in their hands, this mission is to get them back to our field hospital in (F, 3). Once Shaggy enters the forest, he comes under enemy sniping. You can start by going to (B, 6) to get the jeep first, and there are relatively few enemies down there, so it's much less difficult to rescue them after you get the jeep. Note that the enemy's base has a lot of defense forces, but there are two gun towers guarding the base, which is very annoying, but you don't need to care about them at all, just go straight through. (2) Throw a Bone: A call came in from HQ. According to the report of the rescued soldier, Don's forces are planning to use a cargo truck to transport the key. In order to stop the enemy, this mission is to destroy the cargo truck inside the enemy base. It would help a lot if the jeep from the previous level was still there. Shaggy follows the combat route and sneaks into Don's base to get the gun barrel at the base entrance. Just as he enters the base, the alarm goes off, and due to the large number of enemy soldiers, Shaggy requests support from HQ for paratroopers to suppress the enemy fire. Find the truck behind a house in the center, blow up the enemy truck. 2. Mining Camp (1) Enemy Mines. Blow up the car only to learn that the enemy has moved the key. HQ learns that Don has hidden the key in the (E, 5) area and will use a blue messenger soldier to take the key out of the area, ordering Shaggy to take out the enemy messenger soldier and retrieve the key. After Shaggy receives the mission, he quickly crosses the bridge and just afterward the bridge is destroyed by enemy bombers. There are two ways to accomplish this mission. The first is to go straight into the enemy base at (E, 5). There are a lot of enemies in the base, as well as flamethrowers and a crane gunner. After eliminating them, you can safely take care of the blue communication soldier. The second way is to go to (B,1) and get a minesweeper, then go to (E,6), (F,6), (F,5), but there are mines in all three areas, so the minesweeper will come in handy, and when you get to (F,5), you'll find the blue communication soldier. (2) Ghost Train. After taking out the Communicator, HQ gets the second key to the train station, the train arrives at 1 o'clock and the enemy is going to use the train to take the key away. HQ orders Shaggy to go to (C, 1) and stop them from loading the key onto the train. Shaggy went through the woods to the station and asked to lay time bombs around the platform. When the train enters the station, a lot of soldiers pop up, but are taken care of by the bombs. Shaggy takes out one of the soldiers behind the platform to get the red key. 3. Winding River (1) Flotsam and Jetsam. A call from HQ that one of our soldiers has been wounded and is trapped in the (F, 5) sector. There are their military vehicles nearby and Shaggy is asked to make sure they get on safely. This level begins in a camp located in the upper left of the map with a wounded soldier in (F, 5), but after scouting the terrain it turns out that the only bridge is still broken. Find a jeep and a missile tube in the camp, head right to the broken bridge, and then down the road all the way to near the troop carriers. Be careful at this point, there will be an enemy troop carrier and a number of enemy soldiers attacking our troop carrier, so protect it. Blow up both ends of the bridge above you, and the middle section downstream to build a "bridge" over the banks, then cross the river to transport the wounded. (2) The Gauntlet. When headquarters learned that the lives of the wounded soldiers were in danger, they ordered Shaggy to escort them back to camp. Shaggy jumps into a truck and sets out on the return journey. In the middle of the way, there is a large number of enemy interceptions, there are also tanks, you can use the reconnaissance aircraft to scout out the location of the tanks, and then call for air support to blow up the tanks. (3) Roundabout. The wounded report that they have just escaped from Don's prison, and that there are our men in the enemy prison who know information about the last key. This mission is to rescue them and HQ will be informed again when the location of the enemy prison is found out. After receiving the order from the HQ, Shaggy started to move, when the HQ informed that there is an enemy heavy defense communication device in the area of (A, 6), so this mission is to destroy the enemy communication station located in (A, 6). Shaggy exits the camp and the enemy has already attacked, take out the enemy tank with the cannon and use the machine gun to eliminate the minions around it. Replenish your ammo and head towards the camp below. Use the grenades to eliminate the enemy soldiers and find the communication device in the deepest part of the camp. 4. Prison Camp (1) Great Escape. Headquarters this time ordered Shaggy to the prison (B, 3) to rescue our soldiers, it is important to get the whereabouts of the key, this mission must be completed as soon as possible, otherwise our soldiers will be killed by the enemy. Shaggy picks up a few grenades from the camp and rushes on his way. At the outskirts of the prison, you will be attacked by two enemy tanks. Use the grenades to destroy the tanks, then get a crane gun (which can also be used to destroy the tanks) from the crane gunner (D, 1), and then go around to the back of the prison to take out the enemies inside through the fence. After breaking the power grid, our soldiers will escape. (2) Last Chanel Airways. HQ has Shaggy on standby at the airfield located at (F, 1) again. In this level, you can cross two bridges, rush to the helipad in the upper right corner of the map, and wait for the helicopters to evacuate the area. However, there are many enemies in the middle of the way, so you can use the crane gun or air strike to destroy the two enemy tanks, and the other enemy soldiers can be bypassed (be careful not to maneuver around the flamethrowers). River Zone (Bayou) 1. The Swamp (The Swamp) (1) Intelligence (Spywitness News). HQ learns that the blue key is located in the southern swamp area and orders Shaggy to head to the area. On the way, Shaggy is informed that they have found their spy in the (C, 1) area, so Shaggy can take out the enemy spy and grab the information. At the beginning of the mission, keep going upwards and try not to engage in any fighting when you pass the enemy positions, there are two sides here, the gray army and the yellow army, they will attack each other, try not to engage them head on. Go right through the yellow base at (A,1) in the upper left corner of the map, and when you reach a wooden bridge at (C,1), the blue communication soldier actually blew the bridge. You have to go back the way you came and call for a scout to reconnoiter (F7 key), which reveals that he is located at (A, 4) at this point. Go back to the first enemy position you just walked through and take him out. (2) Melee a Trois. HQ has learned that the enemy has new information on a certain soldier located in the (F, 6) Gray Legion camp. Shaggy walks along the top of the map to the head. There will be a lot of enemies near (E, 1) and (F, 1), as well as flamethrowers, so be careful with them. Go down further to reach the top of the enemy camp, blow a gap and rush in, watch out for the flamethrower soldiers inside. You'll see this non-shooting soldier in the depths of the base, take him out and get the information you need from him, it turns out that they want to wait until the situation has stabilized a bit before transferring the key. 2. Shanty Town (1) The defense of the prison (Prisoner's Pilemma). HQ has learned that the key is still in the Gray Legion's prison at (F, 9). This prison is very well protected, and this mission is to capture a soldier on an enemy patrol and force out the exact defenses of the enemy prison. Shaggy receives his orders and heads down the path, encountering many enemy soldiers along the way. Calling for a scout to reconnoiter reveals that the map is motionless except for one soldier who is moving along an area, this soldier is the one we are looking for, put a shot at him and he will surrender. (2) Clean Sweep. From the soldier's mouth, we know that the last key is in the enemy's camp, but there are many mines around the camp and two gun towers in the camp. It's a good idea to find a minesweeper (you can also use a grenade to detonate the mines), which is found on one of the soldiers in (A,6). Come to the (F, 6) area and destroy the gun tower with the crane gun. Enter the camp and destroy all the enemies with the machine gun to get that green key. In this way, according to our Intelligence report, the exit in the swamp can be opened with these three keys. 3. Weapon Plant (1) Beware the Air. There is a retired Gray Army Colonel living in the residence at (C, 1) who knows something about the mysterious entrance, and HQ has asked Shaggy to get in touch with him. However, this mission involves first rescuing our squad at a cabin in (C, 4), and then quickly going to (B, 2) to protect our anti-aircraft artillery, as an enemy is trying to destroy it at this point. (2) Big Bang Theory: In order to get in touch with the Colonel of the Grey Army, HQ orders Shaggy to destroy three enemy tanks patrolling the highway and then to stand by at the steps in front of the Colonel's apartment. Shaggy receives the order but currently has no weapons that can destroy the tanks, but after reconnaissance, he finds that the enemy base (F, 5) contains a large number of weapons and no defenses, so he can bypass the tanks to enter the enemy base and use the terrain to destroy the tanks (hit them with a sling shot through the barbed wire fence). After taking out the 3 tanks go to the residence at (F, 1), where a truck will pick up the Colonel of the Grey Army. (3) Escape for Hire. HQ ordered Shaggy to drive the truck along the main road to take the colonel out the exit at (F, 6). Shaggy understands that this mission is to drive the truck and escape to (F, 6) to pass. There is a roadblock at (D, 5), just go around it. 4. Street (Bourdon Street) (1) Styx and Bones. HQ orders Shaggy to take the Colonel to a safe house at (E, 2), where his superiors will send air support, but the enemy has an anti-aircraft gun at (C, 1), so have Shaggy destroy it. Shaggy picks up a grenade in front of the bridge on the right and sets off. There are mines all over (B, 1) and (C, 1), so use the grenade to detonate them. After destroying the anti-aircraft guns, drive the truck to (E, 2) to complete the mission. (2) City of the Danmned. The Colonel states the information needed by the General Headquarters. Following the Colonel's information, the general report asks Shaggy to follow the route indicated by the cue map to the gate of the cemetery (F , 4). Shaggy jumps out of the car and heads down the main road to the cemetery. There are plenty of enemies along the way, as well as many rocketeers and crane gunners, so don't get too attached. At a three-way intersection, the path is blocked by enemy sandbags, but the path above is still passable. (3) Rescurrection: When you arrive at the cemetery gate, the Colonel is unable to tell you the exact location of the exit, but if you see it, you will know it. Use the 3 keys to find the end and report back to headquarters. After receiving the order, Shaggy realizes that this is the last battle. He rushes into the graveyard, ignoring the yellow and gray troops, they will attack each other, and rushes to (D, 6) to find a statue of an enemy general, every time it flashes, enemy soldiers will come out from the ground, so you have to blow up the statue immediately. After blowing up the statue, go through the gap and you'll see the mysterious entrance between (A,4) and (A,5). Walk to the square monument next to the entrance (the one with the triangular sign) and see three circles drawn on it. Use the key to open the stone door, after which the stone on the left shines with a rumbling sound. We finally find the entrance to the world out of Don's control and the mission is over. Shaggy enters the mysterious portal. Peace returns to the world of the minions.

[edit]Toy Soldier Wars 2

Toy Soldier Wars 2 features Sarge leading his green army to fight against the brown enemy, Sarge can carry up to six types of equipment, and there is an upper limit to the number of each type of equipment, more than that, you just have to throw it away, but he carries the first weapon can't be thrown away, but you don't want to underestimate it, it can be upgraded! Yo. Most of the soldiers led by Sarge are soldiers with rifles, but there are also soldiers with bazookas, flamethrowers, and grenades. The weapon system has bazookas, grenades, flamethrowers, small cannons, mines, time bombs, and the funniest of all, the magnifying glass, which melts the enemy away, as well as the ability to call for support with bombers, paratroopers, and scout planes. There are also props, including mine detectors, camouflage devices, and bulletproof vests (which are a little bit useful for fending off bullets). And of course there's the medkit, which also comes in two varieties, the gray one that medics all on pickup, and the red one that is able to be carried and can only heal one person at a time. In battle, grenades and flamethrowers are useful in the first few levels, but in later battles they are not very useful and can be thrown away, while the bazookas and small cannons are the most useful, and they are very powerful throughout. There is plenty of ammo in the game, so players can feel free to use it and beat the crap out of their enemies. There aren't many keys to use in operation, just read the help, just use the number keys 1 to 6 to quickly select a weapon, which is not explained in the game. One of the serious shortcomings I found in this game was in the maneuvering, the soldiers are simply terrible at finding their way around, the ranks are often in disarray and at times I was so angry I wanted to kick them out, I think it's because they're too lazy to drill their ranks. When it comes to narrow aisles and doors, it's hard to get through, and the soldiers often can't get past them or put Sarge in a corner and won't let him out, which is where the keyboard comes in handy. Because only Sarge has a strong ability to find the way, you just use the keyboard's A, S, D, W as the arrow keys to manipulate Sarge, the soldiers will obediently follow him, which is a good way to solve the problem. The game's training system is well-designed, and for the game's maneuvering and weapon use, the player can pick it up pretty quickly with a trip to the training camp.

[edit]How to get through the game

Toy Soldiers Wars II **** has twelve levels, one map per level, and each level includes two to three missions. Here there is a problem have to be clear to you first, this game fully embodies the duty as an officer is to love and protect the lives of soldiers, because if your soldiers die, (unless in some specific tasks) the game will not give you more soldiers, so if you do not want to be a bare-knuckle commander, you must protect your soldiers. ******** very small oh ********
