People live by eating rain and digging water all the year round. 1988, the north main canal of Zhuzhuang Reservoir flows through the south of Longhua Township, which is convenient for irrigation. Most of the rest areas are hilly and thin, and water resources are extremely scarce. There are only 8 mechanical wells in the township, with an effective irrigation area of 3655 mu. There are 10 mechanical wells in Taizijing Township, and the effective irrigation area is only 14 18 mu, which is a famous arid area in Xingtai County.
1994- 1996, in order to solve the problem of drinking water for the masses, the township party Committee and government mobilized the masses to raise more than 200,000 yuan to dig deep wells and build water towers, and successively installed tap water for four villages including Xitaizijing, Tuling, Longhua and Dongniuyu.
