Philips Interview

Philips Interview Experience

My impression of Philips is very good, I used to be a volunteer in their campus activities, their products, inventions, technology are very convincing and safe. So, I am very hopeful to work for Philips Lighting. But, honestly, before the interview, I was not confident enough, I was not sure I could pass, but I was sure I would try my best.

That day was asked to 6:20 in the morning to the west entrance of the school Philips car to pick up; early winter morning, I 5:30 from the dormitory out, specially dressed up, in fact, by a more professional clothes. The sky is still dark, but I'm not afraid, I thought in my heart is going to face the interview, I do not know what it will be like.

I walked to the west door, a sweat, I do not dare to take off the jacket, for fear that it will be Philips people see the impression is not good. In fact, I waited outside the door for a while before the car came.

I would have liked to get close to the Philips HR staff on the way, but she was chatting with other students, and I didn't dare to interrupt, so I kept silent all the way, and smiled when necessary.

Along the way, I heard whoever is very strong, whoever is instrumental talent, the heart is more nervous; but I keep saying to myself, to be confident, to cheer, at least not without the beginning of the loss in the mentality; since they gave me the opportunity, I have to grasp.

After an hour or so, we arrived at the Yijing Serenity Hotel, a four-star hotel, where we were interviewed.

Once inside, I took a short break and started the interview in about 15 minutes.

We were seated in a triangle, with the interviewer on the top two sides and the interviewer on the bottom two rows. The first to come to the partner are to sit in the back row, I think there is always someone to sit in front of, so I sat in the front. I pulled a girl I met this morning to sit with me. I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to get out of this, but I'm going to be able to get out of this, and I'm going to be able to get out of this.

The first round is the English self-introduction.

I was blanking out, but still had a smile on my face, the kind that makes you feel confident. Since I was the NO.1, I was the first in everything. I just went up with a stiff upper lip. Luckily, I had thought about it yesterday and I'm usually a bit of an "ass", so I didn't let myself get stage fright. I kept a smile on my face and kept talking, and when it was almost time, I came up with a "Thats all! The second round was a team game.

Because I introduced myself, "blowing" to himself is a "good leader", but also because of coincidence I am NO.1, but also because I suggest and advice is also more, so I became a team leader. I enjoyed this process very much, the feeling of being the leader that everyone gave face to and cooperated with. Later on, the completion of our task was not very satisfactory, but I think my performance as the leader should have left a deeper impression on the judges. This is the current me speaking like this, because I know I passed. At that point, I just kept smiling as much as I could, a little shy in my confidence, shy yet fully expressive. I expressed what I wanted to say, what I felt I could say, and tried to use English as much as possible, and I realized that I could still speak English. I could have said what I wanted to say. Best of all, those interviewers seemed to be very facetious, they would remind you if you couldn't get the right word, and respond when your meaning was grasped; it made you feel like you wanted to play and could play.

In the discussion session after the team game, the partners left quite a bit of room for the LEADER to be evaluated, even though there were shortcomings, so I'm thankful to all the partners who participated in the interviews.

The third round was a one-on-one interview with a foreigner and a Chinese examiner. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to get a good deal on this, but I'm sure you're going to be able to get a good deal on this.

Again, I was the first one in my group. I was a little nervous, I was afraid that I would commit the network, books, all kinds of interview taboos in a taboo or a few taboo, then I a morning of hard work, a few days of . I'm afraid I'm going to make a mistake in one or more of the big taboos on the Internet and in the books, so I'm going to have to work hard all morning and prepare for a few days.

Fortunately, this foreigner is a foreigner I feel better, the Chinese interviewer is also very kind, I think try to do it. They didn't seem to want to make me feel nervous, and they asked common questions that I've encountered in my career preparation classes at school.

1. Tell me more about yourself.

What I've prepared for, and what characterizes me, is that I'm honest and upstanding, I'm great to work with, and I take promises seriously. When I promise something, I will do it and do it well.

2. Something you have done in your college years that you are proud of.

I organized a team to hold a summer camp in my hometown, and I did my best to do something for my schoolmates. A lot of people think they have to work and have lots and lots of money to contribute to their hometown, but I was willing to think and do something for my hometown as a college student. That's something I'm proud of.

3. Something you've encountered in your life that has had tremendous stress?

I could have entered the best local high school when I graduated from junior high school, which could have increased my chances of entering Tsinghua University, but in order to reduce the burden of my parents and family, I chose a school that could reduce tuition for me, and I believe that as long as I work hard, I can become successful and successful no matter which school I am in. I am grateful to my high school alma mater, I am grateful that I made the right decision, I still end up entering a prestigious university.

4, the position you want to do

5, what are your requirements for the workplace

6, you choose a job taking into account the conditions TOP3?

7, what is your idea of planning for your future?

8, if one of today's interviewers must be eliminated, do you think it will be you?

Definitely not.

I answered this last question with such a crisp, confident answer that I was a little surprised at myself, but of course sometimes I do surprise people.

When the interviewer said those were the questions and thanked me for coming in, I knew it was over, and I took the initiative to shake their hands and say Thank you over and over again with a confident smile, and then, leave.

Later, we had to wait for everyone to take the bus back to Nanjing. While waiting with the other partners, I talked to them, very naturally, very friendly, and we all got along very well.

All of us finished the interview and took the bus back. My heart was apprehensive because it was very caring; however, I was quite happy, I felt I tried my best to perform, although there were shortcomings, I learned a lot of things, I dared to communicate in English, I dared to be the NO.1, I dared to be the LEADER, and I tried to keep a smile on my face from the beginning to the end, and chatted with everyone, and it was easy to get along with them. When I came back, I tried not to say anything about the interview, I let myself look at it with a normal mind.

In the evening, I got a phone offer from BYD to sign on, I was happy, but I wanted to wait for Philips.

Later, I took the initiative to call Philips to ask for news, and they said there was me on the offer list, and I remained calm and confident on the phone. As soon as I hung up the phone, I jumped up and excitedly shared with my classmates, and everyone was happy for me.

But I haven't gotten a paper offer yet, and I don't know a lot of details about the salary and benefits. They just informed me verbally, and I think Philips will not keep their word. Although the salary is not the most important, but still hope to have a good salary!

I like this company, like her culture, like this position, I will continue to work hard for their career goals!

Go for it!
