Process:
1. Counseling. Donors should first learn about organ donation.
2. Registration. All organ donors must fulfill the 3 conditions of voluntary, gratuitous and death. Those whose organs or tissues are functioning well, who are not infected with AIDS or other serious infectious diseases, and who do not have cancer (except primary brain tumors) are generally suitable for organ donation.
3. Signature. The donor fills out the Human Organ Donation Registration Form.
Specific procedures are as follows:
1, body, organ donation should be voluntary, free of charge for the principle. City and district Red Cross is responsible for the registration and acceptance, the donor can go to the city Red Cross to register, or you can ask the registration agency to register at home;
2, the registration of donation, the donor should write down whether the remains are donated in full or in part and its use, at the same time, but also write down the name of the implementation of the remains of the donor's name, contact information, and is responsible for the notification of the time limit for the acceptance of units of the remains of the donor and agree to the implementation of the views;
3, the donation of remains should be the principle of voluntary, free of charge. /p>
3. After the donor completes the registration, the registration organization will issue a body donation card to the donor. Thereafter, if the donor requests to change the content of the registration or revoke the registration, the registration organization will go through the procedures of changing or revoking the registration;
4. After the death of the donor, the executor of the body donation shall notify the original registration organization in accordance with the time limit agreed upon in the form of the registration of the body donation and sign the agreement on the handover of the donated body with the original registration organization with the certificate of the donor's death and the form of the registration of the body donation, the card of the body donation, and other information. The original registration agency issues a certificate of commemoration of body donation to the executor of the body donation;
5. After the body has been utilized, it will be sent by the utilizing unit to the funeral unit for cremation, and the necessary expenses will be borne by the utilizing unit, except for the request of the executor of the body donation to dispose of the body on his/her own.
Any resident of the People's Republic of China who is willing to donate his or her organs free of charge after his or her death may register his or her willingness to donate at the human organ donation office or registration station in the place of his or her domicile, place of residence or place of hospitalization. When a potential donor status arises, the family member or the doctor in charge of the hospital can contact the information officer or coordinator of the hospital and report to the provincial human organ donation office (or the provincial Red Cross Society). After confirmation, the organ will be harvested by the organ procurement organization in accordance with the regulations and the organs that the donor has agreed to donate. The organs will be distributed under supervision in accordance with relevant regulations.
After organ donation, the body will be restored to its original state. For organ donors, provincial human organ donation offices should issue donation certificates to the donor's family and inscribe the donor's information on organ donation monuments, memorial forests, memorial halls or memorial websites. People with full capacity for civil behavior have the right to decide on their own to donate their human cells, human tissues, human organs and remains without compensation. No organization or individual may force, deceive or induce them to donate.
A person of full capacity for civil behavior who agrees to make a donation in accordance with the preceding paragraph shall do so in writing, and may also conclude a will.
