The infectious disease hospital in the infectious disease area has been completed.
The comprehensive medical district was completed in two phases, including the outpatient medical and technical building and surgical ward building in the first phase of the project, and the internal medicine ward building in the second phase.
The construction of the outpatient medical building with a floor area of 33,000 square meters has been completed; the surgical ward building with a floor area of 43,000 square meters will be completed by the end of April 2011 with one underground floor and nineteen floors above ground.
Advanced medical equipments will be settled in the New District Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of HUST, including 3.0 superconducting magnetic **** vibration, digital flat-panel angiography, all-digital linear gas pedal, single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanner and so on.
In June 2011, the outpatient and surgical ward building of the New District Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of HUST will be fully operational.
Under the premise of perfecting the hospital's basic disease diagnosis and treatment functions, the New District Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of HUST will join hands with domestic and international large-scale medical institutions, focusing on the development of the Emergency Trauma Center, Neurological Disease Center, Maternity and Childhood Center, and Health Management Center.
