5S originated in Japan and refers to the effective management of production elements such as people, machines, materials and methods at the production site, which is a unique management approach of Japanese companies. The details are as follows:

Tidying up (Seiri): removing unnecessary items and leaving only the essentials to make the workplace tidier and clearer.

Seiton (整顿):Place essential items in an orderly manner in a location that is easily accessible, so that the items in the workplace are in order.

Cleaning (Seiso): Regularly clean the workplace, including cleaning equipment, tools, floors, etc., to create a neat and refreshing work environment.

Cleaning (Seiketsu): Develop standardized workflow and cleaning standards to keep the entire workplace consistently clean.
