When we go to the hospital for venous blood collection, sometimes you will find a bruise on your hand after blood collection, and the bruise cannot go down for a long time. What is the reason? How should these situations be solved?
First, the causes of bruises
In our daily life, we may encounter this situation after going to the hospital for a blood test. For example, the nurse asked us to use a cotton swab to press the injured part after drawing blood, but because we didn't press it for a long time, we just thought that we should throw away the cotton swab and do something else immediately after pressing it for a while. When we came back, we found that the blood-drawing piece had become a phenomenon of blood stasis and bruises. There is also a mistake in the method of blood collection by nurses, or when the vein is not easy to find, the blood collection is blunt, which will also cause blood stasis and bruises at the blood collection site.
Second, how to solve it?
First of all, when we take some venous blood in the hospital, when the cotton swab pressed by the nurse is pressed on the eye of the needle, we should press the face sign with three fingers to prevent bleeding. Cover the skin surface and blood vessel wall completely, and press to avoid blood stasis and bruising caused by continuous bleeding at the eye of the needle. How to avoid congestion? It must be pressed for 3~5 minutes after normal blood collection, and the time should not be too short. If it is too short, it is prone to congestion. In fact, there are two needle holes in the process of blood collection, one is that the needle tip penetrates into the skin epidermis, and the other is that the needle tip enters the blood vessel. So when we press, don't just press a needle eye on the skin, but press the needle eye on the blood vessel greatly, so that congestion is not easy to occur.
Third, what actions can't be done?
When we draw blood, there are some actions that we can't do, so as not to let a lot of blood ooze. For example, when we take blood from the vein of the arm, we should bend our hands and arms, press the part where the blood is taken, and not swing our limbs at will. After 2~5 minutes, if there is no congestion at the blood collection place, you can do other actions at will, so you can't walk around at will after blood collection.
