Booking rules: group booking requires an official letter. Please make an appointment 1 day in advance for individual visits. The venue will provide regular explanation services (more than 10 people). Please enter the cultural center from the southwest gate because of the need of epidemic prevention and control.

Introduction to the museum: A sequence museum consists of giant sculptures and theme scenes, which are presented in three ways: painting, sculpture and film. The theme scene of the preface library selects representative buildings and elements in history from the perspective of time and space, and displays the historical picture scroll of Urumqi in the form of painting and calligraphy scrolls. The historical and cultural exhibition of Urumqi on the second and third floors, with the general history as the axis, shows the historical development and changes of Urumqi from pre-Qin to the Republic of China by comprehensively using cultural relics, pictures, scenes and multimedia exhibitions, with nearly 800 cultural relics on display. The four-story "Hometown Memory" and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, with time as the axis, strives to present the imprint of Urumqi's urban construction, culture, education, economy and other aspects of development since the founding of New China, tell the moving story of Urumqi's growth with the motherland, and tap the spiritual and cultural genes of multi-ethnic unity, progress and harmonious development.
