In China, the main task of social medicine is to study and solve the social health problems in China from the reality of China. At the same time, by studying the world health situation and its development law, we can understand the social health problems and global health strategies faced by all countries in the world, learn from the experiences and lessons of health development in all countries in the world, and catch up with the trend of modern medical development in all countries in the world. Therefore, the basic task of international health care should be included in the content of social medical research.
The basic tasks of social medicine are as follows:
1. Advocate a positive health concept, protect and enhance people's physical and mental health and social activities, and improve people's quality of life. The concept of health put forward by the World Health Organization is that this definition shows that health should be actively maintained and promoted from three aspects: society, psychology and physiology. In order to adapt to the change of medical model and promote the change of traditional medical and health concept, it is necessary to emphasize that there are biological factors, psychological factors and social factors that affect people's health in disease prevention and medical education plans. For some diseases, psychological and social factors are often more important than biological factors. Through social medical evaluation techniques such as health risk factor evaluation and health-related quality of life evaluation, comprehensive health measures are taken to promote people to change their bad behaviors and lifestyles, reduce risk factors, effectively control the occurrence of diseases and improve their health level.
2. Improve social health and improve the quality of life and health of the population. Social health status consists of two parts: population health status and influencing factors of population health. By systematically analyzing the present situation, characteristics, changes and development trends of social health, this paper analyzes the influence of health policies, social economy, health resources, health care services and habits on people's health from macro and micro perspectives, finds out the existing social health problems, and puts forward strategies and measures to improve social health and health level.
3. Formulate health policies and strategies, guide regional health reform and development, carry out community health services and develop primary health care. Through the investigation and analysis of people's health needs in a certain area, we can understand the utilization and distribution of health resources, study the fairness of health service utilization, explore the allocation of health resources and ways to improve resource efficiency, put forward countermeasures and measures to meet people's health needs, and provide scientific basis for evaluating and improving the social and economic benefits of health undertakings.
4 to carry out prevention and health care work for special populations and special diseases. Special groups refer to high-risk groups, such as women, children, the elderly, the disabled and workers engaged in dangerous operations. Social diseases closely related to the occurrence and development of social factors, such as accidental injury, mental illness, alcoholism and drug abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS and other infectious diseases, are all related to people's behavior and lifestyle. The medical care work of high-risk groups and the prevention and treatment of social diseases must closely cooperate with all social departments and mobilize the masses to participate, which will help to do a good job in the prevention and treatment of diseases for special groups.
