How to relieve the pain after tooth extraction?

Under normal circumstances, there will be no obvious pain after tooth extraction.

If low impacted teeth are extracted, impacted teeth are extracted, or it is difficult to extract teeth, the doctor will tell you before extraction that there may be serious reaction after operation, swelling and pain will occur, and anti-inflammatory painkillers will be prescribed.

If the pain is severe after tooth extraction, there is no way to relieve the pain by taking medicine. The common cause is dry socket. Health education after tooth extraction;

Within a few hours after tooth extraction, the saliva in your mouth should be swallowed gently. Don't spit it out repeatedly, and don't lick the wound with your tongue or suck it repeatedly to prevent bleeding.

Fasting within 2 hours after tooth extraction, eating soft food after 2 hours, food should not be overheated, avoid chewing on the side of tooth extraction.

On 1 day after tooth extraction, it is best not to brush your teeth, but to rinse your mouth.

Cold compress was applied to the cheek within 46 hours after tooth extraction, each time 15 min, and hot compress was applied on the third day after operation.

Do not do strenuous exercise or heavy physical labor for 0/~ 2 days after operation.

It is best not to smoke or drink within 2 days after tooth extraction. Do not rinse your mouth with raw water within 1 week after tooth extraction.
