As far as I know, most of the old people who work as cleaners in cities are old farmers from rural areas. The main reasons why they are cleaners are as follows:
(1) They rely on the so-called social pension, which is about 100 yuan per month, to provide for the elderly farmers. Because of the low level of education, when the old and weak can't farm, they come to the city to find dirty and tired cleaning work.
(2) China has a large population and little land, so farmers can no longer solve the problem of providing for the aged by sharing the income of one acre and three points equally. If you rent someone else's land, the profit of growing food is too low, and there is not much money left per mu except the cost. However, some people who don't understand the actual situation in rural areas will say that there is less land and low profits. You can transfer more land and run more family farms, so you can earn more money. This is a way of saying that it is easy to stand and talk. He doesn't know the truth of this sentence. After 60, one's physical strength is exhausted. So it is impossible to be a cleaner in the city in any way. In the eyes of these old farmers, it may be the only choice for providing for the elderly.
(3) As far as I know, there are still many women, farmers and old people in their sixties and seventies. Because children are forced by studying, getting married, buying a house and living. They have to take their children to the city, take care of them, and at the same time, they have to be nannies to pay homage to the parents and old people of the rich. When I spoke to them, they were all in tears. A very simple sentence, I didn't expect that I would die soon. I have no choice.
(4) There are some elderly farmers who are healthy and their children are doing well. In order not to drag down the children, but also to save some money for their old age, they transferred one acre and three points that they could not support their families to others and came to work in the city themselves. But these old farmers can earn more money by working, generally doing manual work in urban gardens.
In short, the old farmers in China went to the city to do dirty and tired cleaning work. According to my observation, I can sum up the above four reasons.
I didn't make any money when I was young.
This problem is usually caused by the following reasons:
1, the job of cleaner is unsanitary, and young people are generally unwilling to do it.
2. Because the bosses of many types of jobs in society are unwilling to recruit elderly people over 50, cleaners are more suitable for people of all ages.
3. Some parents want to survive and reduce the pressure of their children's life, while some old people can only do some cleaning work because they can't work in factories, enterprises and units.
There are many young people doing this kind of work.
No one pays twice as much, and no one wants old people to go out to work. It's nice to be a cleaner at home. Even if you exercise well, you still get paid. Most healthy elderly people are willing to do this kind of work, so street cleaners are all elderly people.
Let me answer this question.
The cleaners in our town are basically old people, and young people don't do this because of low wages.
These old people are older when they go out to work, and their families are not at ease. Some factories attached to us are not accepted by others, which makes the old people feel clumsy and prone to accidents.
In order to build beautiful countryside and beautify the urban environment, our town has recruited some cleaners in recent years, most of whom are old people.
One: Recruit these old people In order to alleviate their financial difficulties, some old people have no financial resources. Although the salary of dry cleaners is not high, it is still possible to maintain a person's daily life.
Two: In order to reduce the burden on their children, some old people basically live and eat separately from their children after marriage. Some old people spend all their life savings for their children's marriage, and there is no money left in their hands. The cleaner's salary is not high, but it is very stable and he can get the money on time every month.
Three: Although the state has provided some subsidies to the elderly every month in recent years, these subsidies are too small to support their lives. Being a cleaner with subsidies can basically make a living.
They work at sunrise and rest at sunset. These old people are very conscientious in completing their work and contributing to the beautiful countryside and towns.
Here, I sincerely thank them and wish them a happy life in their later years!
I also noticed the phenomenon of elderly cleaners. The environmental sanitation of our country's cities has made great progress in recent years, and all the roads are relatively clean. Most of the tools used by cleaners are riding electric cars, adding small brooms and thorns, and sometimes holding long handles to pick up scattered garbage such as leaves or pieces of paper. The labor intensity is not great. I think it is more appropriate to use such an older person than a young and strong one. In addition, the cleaner's salary is low. Who will make that money for young people? Healthy old people have an acceptable salary before exercise, which is good!
Don't ask why. You'll know when you get old.
Unlike the old people in the city, the old people in the countryside have a pension every month. Old people over the age of 60 in rural areas only have a pension of one or two hundred yuan, and the food they grow is worthless, which is far from enough for these people's expenses. Moreover, most rural elderly children have to pay off their mortgages before they can raise their children in cities and earn money to subsidize their children. Besides, the elderly over 60 years old are exhausted and have to find a janitor to clean up.
For young people, it is not only a problem of low income, but also a humiliating life. They would rather sleep at home with empty pockets than sweep the floor in the street. In the final analysis, these young people have problems with their values.
In fact, no matter what kind of labor, it is a part of social activities. Serving others is everywhere in society, such as doctors treating diseases, teachers educating people, salespeople and so on. That's not serving society. Why discriminate against street sweepers? I still don't understand.
Young man, nobody wants to be a cleaner. Cleaning wages are low, hard working hours are long, and some people only give two days off a month. Most cleaning has no three risks, and even wages are calculated by the day, that is, money is paid one day. Most of the rural elderly who do cleaning have no old-age insurance, and some 70% do cleaning for life. No matter spring, summer, autumn and winter, at noon, I often see the old people who are cleaning eating and resting under the trees on the roadside or in sheltered places. They should spend their old age at retirement age, but they work hard. I hope the relevant departments will give them more care and pay them more.
