Binjiang District is a district under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Located on the south bank of Qiantang River, it originally belonged to Xiaoshan City, Zhejiang Province. It was established in June1996+February 12 by Xixing Town, Changhe Town and Puyan Town of Xiaoshan City. The east and south of Binjiang District are adjacent to Xiaoshan District. The whole area is 72.22 square kilometers.
