Ensure that children have at least 2 hours of outdoor activities every day. Outdoor activities should be carried out in an environment with sufficient light and broad vision (not counting living in different places).
Lively children may play basketball, football, badminton and other activities, making it easier to achieve their goals.
For quiet and introverted children, it may be a better way to encourage them to go out for a walk with their families and breathe fresh air.
2. Pay attention to reading and writing habits
Bad reading and writing habits are considered as a risk factor for myopia. Scientific research shows that teenagers who like to tilt their heads when writing and hold pens with their fingertips close to the tip (< 2 cm) are more likely to be nearsighted.
Therefore, in daily life, children should be educated to develop such reading and writing habits: sitting up, holding the tip of the pen one inch (about 3 cm) away from the nib, punching the chest from the table (about 6 cm), and reading the book one foot away from the eyes (about 33 cm). Don't walk, ride and lie down while reading.
Step 3 get enough sleep
Adequate sleep plays an important role in the development of eyes. China Center for Disease Control and Prevention suggested that primary school students should sleep at least 10 hour a day, junior high school students should sleep at least 9 hours, and senior high school students should sleep at least 8 hours.
4. Little or no electronic products.
Nowadays, children often watch TV, watch computers and play mobile phones. Long-term close use of eyes will increase the burden on eyes, induce dry eye, pseudomyopia and other problems, and lead to aggravation of myopia.
Therefore, parents should control the distance and time when their children use electronic products. In terms of distance, it is generally recommended that the distance between the eyes and the monitor be not less than 50cm (about one arm long). In terms of time, the "20-20-20" rule is advocated internationally, that is, once every 20 minutes, you can watch the electronic screen at a distance of 20 feet (about 6 meters) for at least 20 seconds.
