Impermanence is constant.

Have you experienced the pain of kidney calculi? I have experienced it. You can't lie down when you are in pain. Only teach you to cry, grab the ground, and a seven-foot man will cry.

Impermanence is not the heady boy we see in TV movies, nor is it black and white impermanence. Impermanence is one of the main topics in Buddhism. Everything in the world will change, be born, be bad and be empty, and everyone will experience birth, aging, illness and death. This is impermanence. There is nothing eternal in the world, and the law and principle of impermanence is "unchangeable" (unchangeable, eternal). So impermanence is constant.

On the first working day after the 11th National Day, I went for a physical examination. B-ultrasound doctor showed a 0.3X0.4 stone in the left kidney. I asked if I needed treatment, and the answer was: too small, neglected. I remember that this stone has been with me for several years, and I had it on 20 10 or 20 12. The doctor also said it was too small to care. And this stone, I never felt its existence, nor did I feel any discomfort. Just when I thought it would continue to merge with me, on the last day of October, the pain suddenly came. The pain is beyond your description. You can't sit or lie down After I howled for two hours, it suddenly stopped hurting, and I seemed to have returned to heaven and earth. This made me really realize what impermanence is.

I have been reading Su Dongpo's biography written by Lin Yutang these two days. Su Dongpo's life was ups and downs, and he almost accompanied him all his life outside the barriers of being an official and relegating North Korea. An impressive detail is that the book also wrote a magical Taoist Wu Fugu, who traveled all over China all his life. The difference is that Su Dongpo was always framed by impeachment and exiled by the emperor in his diligent career for the people. And Wu is a retro man, a wild crane in the clouds. Where to go is entirely up to him, and he is never subject to others. Learning to be excellent is the only way for scholars in China for thousands of years; Power was concentrated in the struggle between the emperor and his cronies, and the villain gained the upper hand, so that Zhongliang was framed. Su Dongpo's experience has appeared in almost all dynasties. But impermanence came, and Su Dongpo calmly faced it: "I can accompany the Jade Emperor from above, and I can accompany the beggars in the fields. There are no bad people in the world before me. " So Su Dongpo lived a happy and fearless life, like a breeze, leaving a lot of poems, paintings and calligraphy to future generations.

Since I entered the legal profession, I have been exposed to many cases of duty crimes, including corruption, dereliction of duty and bribery. China is a human society, weddings, funerals, festivals, reciprocity, everyone walks in human feelings, everyone is used to it. It is difficult for these former officials (especially their families) to accept the New Year's Day gifts from subordinates or businessmen who have business contacts as criminal facts and be convicted and sentenced. They think that everyone else is like this, and they feel that they are just being brought to justice and are disgusted. In fact, when you stand on the opposite side of the system for whatever reason, the "annual ceremony" is just a tool to give people a handle and convict you. In the process of handling cases, because of the social environment and system, I often persuade them to put down their ideas and don't care about other people's opinions when they are in office. Fame, fame, and power are all external things. Life does not bring death, but impermanence will come sooner or later. Your health is your own now. Only by facing and accepting frankly can we live in the present.

Impermanence is a ubiquitous change in the world. Naturally, this change also includes misfortune. People are naturally willing to accept good and pleasant changes, but they cannot accept bad and painful changes. But impermanence is impermanence, and there is no difference between good and bad in the world. People often say that you never know which comes first, tomorrow or the accident, which means the same thing.

There is a saying in Buddhism called "complete acceptance", that is, everything you encounter at present is the best: the people you meet are the best and completely accept; Even if your illness is the best, you should accept it completely. Don't complain, you will get what you deserve, and you will get nothing. I really like Lao Shun portrayed by Xue Mo in the Desert Trilogy. There is a man in the west who always says, "God can give, and Lao Tzu can take."

Impermanence in Buddhism is closely related to non-ego. In Za Agama, it is said that "all lines are impermanent, and all laws have no self". "No self" means that everything will not only be eternal in form, but also be destroyed in spirit, that is, there is no spiritual subject of Heng Chang. Since everything in the world has no eternal subject, it is not worthy of people's persistent pursuit (not a thorough pursuit, but a non-greedy pursuit, that is, not persistence).

Therefore, the Buddhist thought does not make you passive and unpredictable, but makes you let go of your persistent pursuit of money, fame and fortune, luxury cars and beautiful women in the secular world. Time is precious, so we should cherish the present, work hard when we have dreams, and achieve our goals when we have goals (don't cling to the results). You should be filial when you have high school, love when you have children, and accompany when you have lovers. Instead of wasting your time, drifting away, or waiting for impermanence to come and regret it. And impermanence is also the last one to show mercy.

I started writing essays yesterday, and then I thought about writing a paragraph about impermanence today. I woke up at five in the morning, lay down for a while and found that I couldn't sleep, so I got up. I took time to watch the biography of Su Dongpo for a while. When I arrived at the office, I found that my back pain was worse. Only then did I find out that the reason why I got up early was that kidney calculi's pain came again. I can't sit and read. I can only pace around the office while reading, waiting for my colleagues to buy medicine for me. For example, the last time, the medicine was bought back and the low back pain disappeared. At this time, I also finished reading this biography of Su Dongpo.

Impermanence comes and goes.
