According to People's Daily Online on June 29th, 2022, on June 8th, 2022, the Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention of Guidong County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province was listed, becoming the first district-level CDC established in Chenzhou City. On May 29th, 2022, the Disease Prevention and Control Bureau of Longhui County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province was established. On May 26th, 2022, Xinhua County Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention of Loudi City, Hunan Province held a listing ceremony in the office building of County Health Bureau. Hunan province has also become a "pioneer" province to set up grass-roots CDC.
