Introduction of Female Reproductive Health Project in China
The reproductive health project in China is an important part of "Health Walk with Me-China Women's Health Series" and a large-scale public welfare activity implemented by the China Women's Reproductive Health Project Office. Women play the role of "half the sky" in social production and bear the important responsibility and risk of bearing offspring. Their health is directly related to the health and peace of children, families and even the whole society. Governments at all levels have made unremitting efforts to improve women's reproductive health and constantly improve reproductive health care services. However, there are still different degrees of reproductive tract infections among women of all ages in China. According to the data released by the World Health Organization (WTO), 40% of women in China suffer from gynecological diseases such as reproductive tract infections to varying degrees, while the prevalence rate of married women is as high as 70%. That is to say, about 300 million women in China suffer from this disease, which has exceeded the incidence of colds.
