How to judge that rice is moldy?

The method for judging the mildew of rice is as follows:

1. moldy rice first shows abnormal color and smell, which can be judged by the basic "smell, look and touch". If you smell rice, it is a precursor to fever and mildew. The smell of rice in the early stage of mildew is not obvious.

2. Rib: The grooves on the side and back of rice grains are white and then gray, so it is called rib, and the color of rice is dark. Its hardness decreases, its dispersibility decreases, and it can be agglomerated by hand. When the stored rice appears such phenomena as eye popping and tendon lifting, the degree of mildew of rice is obvious.

3. Try to grind off the cortex before cooking, rinse it with clear water several times, and dump the floating objects and rice bran in the water to reduce the mycotoxin content in rice. Once mildew is serious, it can't be eaten.

The rice is moldy and can't be eaten after washing. Moldy indicates deterioration, serious nutrient loss and aflatoxin, which is a harmful carcinogen and cannot be removed after washing. Eating it will do harm to the human body and have serious consequences.

2. Preventive measures

Healthy rice has no peculiar smell, no wormholes, white color and complete particles. However, moldy rice is dark in color and will agglomerate when held by hand. Rice should be stored in a dry place and can be poured into a vacuum bag to prevent it from being damp and moldy.
