Special inspection According to the "three unifications" principle of unified inspection methods, unified inspection instruments and unified inspection result judgment rules, 150 national food quality inspection centers and laboratories were organized to supervise and inspect the national liquid milk production enterprises, and the inspection results were confirmed by the State Key Laboratory and the State Key Inspection Institutions.
This special inspection focused on whether the liquid milk produced by well-known brand enterprises such as Mengniu, Yili, Guangming, Sanyuan and Nestle with a market share of over 70% contains melamine. The test results are as follows:

No melamine was detected in 847 batches of liquid milk products produced by other 406 enterprises.
In order to make enterprises truly fulfill their social responsibilities, AQSIQ requires production enterprises to take the initiative to recall the batch of products with melamine detected. The products were removed from the shopping malls and the products without problems were sold normally. At the same time, for the rectification of production enterprises, starting with raw materials such as raw milk, batch inspection should be implemented, the quality and safety of production process should be strictly controlled, and batch inspection of ex-factory products should be strictly implemented. All products that have not been inspected or failed to pass the inspection are not allowed to leave the factory for sale, so as to effectively protect the health and safety of consumers. It is necessary to strictly investigate the reasons for adulterating melamine and severely punish those responsible.
According to medical experts, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) and the authoritative organization of the health department in China have all made scientific assessments on the safe limit of human intake of melamine. According to the most stringent evaluation criteria, taking an adult with a standard weight of 60 kg as an example, it is safe to eat the liquid milk with the above melamine content if it does not exceed 2 liters per day (that is, 8 bags, 250 ml per bag).
