How to install the system on the newly bought solid-state drive

How to install the system on the new SSD? With the popularity of solid-state hard disks, more and more users replace mechanical hard disks with solid-state hard disks, and they need to install systems when replacing them with new hard disks. For a new solid state hard disk without a system, we can use a USB flash drive to install the system. Some users have not installed the system, and they don't know how to install the new SSD system. Here, Bian Xiao introduces the steps of installing a new SSD system with a U disk.

Installation instructions:

1. If it is a non-uefi model, install it directly in legacy mode; If it is a uefi model, install it through a UEFI USB flash drive.

2. This paper introduces the method of installing ghostwin 1064 bit in uefi mode, and other methods refer to related tutorials.

Second, USB flash drive startup settings: the method of setting UEFI startup by computer.

Three, the new solid-state hard disk U disk installation system steps are as follows

1. After making the wepe startup disk, copy the iso image of win 10 system directly to the USB flash drive;

2. Insert the USB flash drive into the computer. In order to play the speed of SSD, you must first enter ahci mode in which BIOS turns on HDD. Usually, the new computer defaults to AHCI, and no change is needed. This step can usually be omitted. Take Gigabit motherboards as an example. Press Del to enter the bios interface when booting, switch to the peripheral interface, select SATAModeSelection to enter, select ahci to enter, and press F 10 to save and restart. Other motherboards can look at: how to open AHCI mode in BIOS;

3. After restarting, continue to press the startup shortcut key such as F 12 or F 1 1 or Esc to bring up the startup menu dialog box, and select the recognized U disk option, usually the name of the U disk or words with USB, such as SanDisk. If you want to install in uefi mode, select the project with UEFI mode and press enter;

4. Select the resolution of windowspe. By default, the 1 th resolution is selected, or you can select the second specified resolution and press Enter.

5. After entering pe, win 10 system needs to be installed under uefi. Hard disk needs GPT partition table. Double-click the partition assistant (lossless) on the desktop, select Disk 1, and click Quick Partition. If you have more than one hard disk, choose the right one, according to the size of the SSD. Don't delete by mistake.

6. Set the number, size and type of partitions. The system disk of the system is recommended to be labeled above 60G. Since UEFI startup is selected, the disk type should be GPT, the partition alignment should be 4k, and 2048 sectors or 4096 sectors can be used. Click start execution after confirmation.

7. The zoning process is very fast. After the partition is completed, as shown in the figure, there will be two ESP and MSR without a drive letter in the GPT partition. Don't move these two partitions, just look at your separate disk C and D. If the drive letter is occupied, please select the disk that has occupied drive C, choose to change the drive letter on the left, and so on.

8. Then open the this pc-Micro PE toolbox, right-click the iso image of win 10 system, and select Load. If there is no loading option, right-click to open Method-Resource Manager;

9. Double-click and double-click the installation system. Exe, run the installation tool, select the recovery partition, and the GHOWIMISO image path will be automatically extracted to win 10.gho, and then select the installation location, usually drive C, or judge according to the volume label or total size, and click OK after selection;

10. If this prompt pops up, click Yes directly to continue;

1 1. This dialog box pops up. Choose to restart and guide the repair after completion, and click Yes;

12, to this interface, it will take some time to install and deploy the win 10 system to disk C;

13. After the operation is completed, the computer will automatically restart after 10 seconds;

14. Pull out the USB flash drive during the restart process, and then enter this interface to install, drive and activate the components of win 10 system;

15, it will take some time to restart, and then enter the system automatic configuration process again;

16. Finally, boot into the desktop of win 10 system, and the system will be installed on SSD.

This is how to install the system on the newly bought SSD. If you just changed the SSD, you can use the above method to install the system through the USB flash drive.
