Occupational hazards refer to the health hazards caused by workers' contact with productive dust, harmful chemicals, physical factors and radioactive substances in their professional activities.
According to Article 7 of the Administrative Measures for the Declaration of Occupational Hazards in Workplaces, there is no charge for the declaration of occupational hazards in workplaces.
Article 8 Occupational hazards in the workplace shall be declared once a year. The production and business operation entity shall report to the original reporting authority in accordance with the provisions of this article when the following matters have undergone major changes:
(a) new construction, renovation, expansion, technical transformation or technology introduction, shall be declared within 30 days from the date of completion and acceptance of the construction project;
(2) If the occupational hazard factors and related contents originally declared have undergone major changes due to changes in technology, process or materials, they shall be declared within 15 days from the date of changes in technology, process or materials;
(3) Any change in the name, legal representative or principal responsible person of the production and business operation entity shall be reported within 15 days from the date of change.
Article 13 Where there are occupational hazards listed in the Occupational Diseases Catalogue in the workplace of the employing unit, it shall timely and truthfully declare the occupational hazards to the local health authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Measures for the Declaration of Occupational Hazards, and accept the supervision and inspection by the health authorities.
Article 20 An employing unit with serious occupational hazards shall entrust an occupational health technical service institution with corresponding qualifications to detect occupational hazard factors at least once a year and evaluate the occupational hazard status at least once every three years.
The employing unit with general occupational hazards shall entrust an occupational health technical service institution with corresponding qualifications to conduct occupational hazard factor detection at least once every three years. The test and evaluation results shall be stored in the occupational health archives of the unit, and reported to the competent health department and announced to the workers.
