Gum always bleeds, is it a sign of physical problems?

Many people will encounter such a situation when brushing their teeth or eating, that is, bleeding gums. For people who often have gum bleeding, it will not only affect their food intake, but also have a certain impact on their mental state, because during gum bleeding, people are often accompanied by pain, which will affect their mood. Therefore, people with gum bleeding must find the inducing factors in time and then do targeted treatment.

First, lack of vitamin C.

Brushing bleeding is probably due to the lack of vitamin C, which leads to the fragility of gingival blood vessels, and the blood vessels break when they meet the external force of toothbrush, thus bleeding. Vitamin C is a well-known vitamin star. When vitamin C is deficient, it will lead to bleeding gums, long red moles on the skin, spots on the face, nosebleeds, pale face and easy to catch a cold. Dentists suggest that in addition to the normal diet, you can supplement 50 mg of vitamin C every day. At the same time, green leafy vegetables, oranges, kiwis and strawberries are all rich in vitamin C.

Second, the brushing method is wrong.

It is very important to choose the correct brushing method. The correct method recommended by dentists is to combine vertical brushing with horizontal brushing. The action essentials of vertical brushing method are: when brushing the buccal surface of lips and the lingual surface of posterior teeth, the bristles are parallel to the long axis of teeth and point to the gingival margin, and the bristles form a 45-degree angle with the long axis, and the toothbrush is rotated. When brushing the upper teeth, the bristles should be brushed down between the teeth, and when brushing the lower teeth, they should be brushed from bottom to top, and the same part should be brushed 5 ~ 6 times repeatedly. Brush the occlusal surface of the posterior teeth horizontally, and clean the pit and fissure space on the occlusal surface, and brush back and forth for 8 ~ 10 times on each side.

If gingival bleeding occurs for a long time, you should consider the already serious gingivitis or periodontitis and go to the hospital for treatment in time. After periodontal treatment, including washing teeth and removing local tartar irritation, we can try to restore the gingival health of teeth and eliminate gingival bleeding. There are also cases of gingival bleeding caused by systemic diseases, which need careful clinical identification. If only gingivitis and periodontitis lead to gingival bleeding, gingival bleeding will be relieved after the above periodontal treatment. But in daily life, we should also pay attention to developing good brushing habits or learning to floss to clean the adjacent gaps between teeth. After a period of time, timely follow-up and treatment are needed to prevent gingivitis and periodontitis from happening again.
