What are Zhoushan College?

Zhoushan College includes Zhejiang International Maritime College and Zhejiang Zhoushan Islands New Area Tourism and Health Vocational College.

Zhejiang International Maritime College is a full-time general higher vocational school. Zhejiang International Maritime College is located in the scenic "Haitian Buddha Country, Fishing Capital Port City", the first national-level new district with the theme of marine economy in China, and the Zhoushan Islands New District in China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The school has two campuses, Zhoushan New Town and Daishan, covering an area of about 598 mu, with a construction area of 6,543,800+0.55 million square meters. There are nearly 5,000 full-time vocational students, and more than 700 adult education students/kloc-0. There are eight teaching units, including Maritime Engineering College, Ship Engineering College, Port Management College, Ocean Tourism College, International Education College, Petrochemical College, Donghai Education College and Social Science, Sports and Art Department.

Moreover, 23 higher vocational majors, such as navigation technology, marine engineering technology, marine power engineering technology, aircraft mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, port and shipping management, customs declaration and international freight, international cruise crew management, industrial robot technology, petrochemical technology and petroleum refining technology, have been set up, and a higher vocational education talent training system combining full-time higher vocational education with part-time academic education, vocational training and technical services has been established.
