The purpose of physical examination is to ensure that the driver's health meets the safety requirements of driving motor vehicles and improve the level of road traffic safety.
Motor vehicle drivers who hold a driver's license for small automatic passenger cars for the disabled shall have a physical examination every three years, and submit a physical condition certificate issued by a specialized medical institution designated by the Provincial Health Department within 30 days after the end of the scoring cycle. The purpose is to ensure that the driver's physical condition is suitable for driving disabled vehicles and ensure road safety.

The contents of the motor vehicle driver's license examination include:
Road traffic safety violations and the handling of traffic accidents;
Physical condition;
The situation of taking the study exam after scoring the illegal acts of road traffic safety and scoring 12.
Drivers who hold driver's licenses for large buses, heavy-duty trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses and large trucks and score points within a scoring period, drivers who hold other quasi-driving licenses and bear equal responsibility for deaths in traffic accidents, and whose motor vehicle driver's licenses have not been revoked, should participate in at least three hours of knowledge study on road traffic safety laws and regulations, traffic safety and civilized driving, and emergency handling. And accept the warning education of traffic accident cases.
Motor vehicle drivers over 70 years of age should also be tested for memory, judgment and responsiveness in accordance with regulations.
Those who violate road traffic safety laws or traffic accidents are not handled, their physical conditions do not meet the requirements of driver's license, and they fail to participate in study, education and examination as required, and will not pass the examination.
Article 74 of the Provisions on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving License
Motor vehicle drivers over the age of 70 shall have a physical examination once a year and submit the physical condition certificate issued by the medical institution within 30 days after the end of the scoring cycle.
Motor vehicle drivers who hold a driver's license for small automatic passenger cars for the disabled shall have a physical examination every three years, and submit a physical condition certificate issued by a medical institution within 30 days after the end of the scoring cycle.

Article 72 of the Provisions on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving License
Motor vehicle drivers shall, in accordance with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations, regularly go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification.
Motor vehicle drivers shall accept the examination and approval of the traffic administrative department of the public security organ when renewing their motor vehicle driving licenses in accordance with Articles 63 and 64 of these Provisions.
Drivers holding driver's licenses for large buses, heavy-duty towed trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses and large trucks shall go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification within 30 days after the end of each scoring cycle. However, if there is no scoring record in a scoring cycle, it will be exempted from the verification of this scoring cycle.
A driver who holds a driver's license other than that specified in the third paragraph shall be equally responsible for the death caused by traffic accidents, and his motor vehicle driver's license has not been revoked, and shall go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification within 30 days after the end of this scoring cycle.
Motor vehicle drivers over the age of 70 who are seriously injured or killed due to traffic accidents shall go to the traffic management department of the public security organ for verification within 30 days after the end of this scoring cycle.
Motor vehicle drivers can participate in verification and submit proof of physical condition at or outside the place where motor vehicle driver's license is issued.
