How to determine the grade of ancient and famous trees?

Ancient trees are classified into national first-,second-and third-grade trees, the age of national first-grade trees is over 500 years, the age of national second-grade trees is 300-499 years, and the age of national third-grade trees is 100-299 years. National famous trees are not restricted by age and are not graded.

Ancient and famous trees have eight values:

5. Value calculated at purchase price

Some ancient and famous trees are related to a specific historical period. For example, the Ficus altissima planted in Shenzhen Huxian Botanical Garden during Comrade Deng Xiaoping's southern tour has special commemorative significance.

6. Scientific research value

Ancient trees can be used to study local natural history, understand the changes of climate, forest vegetation and flora in this area, and provide reference for agricultural production division.
