According to the racial division, there are four major races in South Africa: black, white, colored and Asian.
Black people account for nearly 80%, and black people are composed of nine ethnic groups (Zulu, Xhosa, Swaziland, Tswana, North Soto, South Soto, Kanga, Venda and Ndebele).
White people are Dutch-born South Africans and British-born whites.
Colored people are a mixture of whites, aborigines and slaves during the colonial period.
Asians are mainly Indians and China.
