What is mental health?

Mental health refers to a person's normal mental state, including emotion, thinking and behavioral ability. Generally speaking, the following characteristics can indicate that a person's mental health is good:

Positive emotional experience: including pleasant, comfortable, cheerful and other positive emotional experiences, which can adapt to the changes of life and its emotional response.

Good self-awareness and self-control ability: have a clear understanding of your emotions and needs, and be able to manage through self-control, thus maintaining inner balance and stability.

Can establish stable interpersonal relationships: maintain good communication and exchange with others, support each other, respect each other's rights and enjoy life together.

Strong adaptability: able to cope with different life pressures and challenges, find solutions that suit you, and make effective responses and adjustments.

A sense of accomplishment: gain a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in work, study, family and other fields, and accumulate self-confidence, thus ensuring a healthy psychological state.

It should be noted that mental health is a relative concept, which does not mean that there is no negative emotion or situation at all, nor is it a static state. In life, people often face various pressures and maladjustments, so it is necessary to maintain mental health and balance through positive attitude and effective self-regulation methods.
