According to the requirements of practicality and practicality, when determining the content of school mental health education, we should highlight the characteristics of activity orientation, infiltrate the content of mental health education into flexible and interesting activities, give full play to the advantages of activities, and pay attention to the educational role of the activity process. In the content of mental health education in schools, various colorful activities are creatively designed to enable students to grow and develop through activities, participation and personal experience.

1. Maintain mental health

This is an education for all students to improve their basic quality. Specifically including:

(1) Learning psychological counseling, that is, helping students to establish a scientific understanding of the nature of learning activities, cultivating students to develop a healthy and positive learning attitude and motivation, and cultivating students to develop good study habits and master scientific learning methods;

(2) Emotional education, that is, teaching students to grasp and express their emotions, learning to effectively control, adjust and reasonably vent their negative emotions, observing and understanding others' emotions, and training related skills;

(3) Interpersonal relationship guidance, that is, around three kinds of interpersonal relationships: parent-child, teacher-student, and peer, knowing that students correctly understand the essence of various relationships and learn skills and principles to deal with various problems in interpersonal communication, including conflict resolution, cooperation and competition, learning to refuse, respect and support;

(4) The cultivation of sound personality, that is, the healthy personality qualities that an individual should have when facing the pressure of social survival, such as independence, enterprise, frustration tolerance, etc.

(6) psychological counseling room. Set up a psychological counseling room to provide individual or group counseling to students. The psychological counseling room has full-time teachers in charge, a special work plan, fixed opening hours and a fixed place. The environment layout of psychological counseling room not only meets the requirements of psychological counseling, but also conforms to the characteristics of middle school students, which makes students feel relaxed as soon as they enter the door and is conducive to the development of counseling.

(7) Case analysis. Students with excellent intelligence, critical intelligence, model students and problem students are taken as the research objects. The research is conducted in two ways: telling and not telling. Follow-up research and cooperative research are adopted.

(8) psychological mailbox. All kinds of mental health problems put forward by students in written form can be put into the psychological mailbox, explained by psychological counseling teachers or given individual counseling to help students form a healthy psychology.

(9) School newspaper publicity. This paper introduces the contents and methods of mental health education in the form of school newspaper, and answers the contents and methods of various mental health education put forward by students.
