Frozen pig's trotters in rural markets cost 8 yuan a catty, and there is a lot of meat. Why do farmers say that cheap goods are not good?

Recently, the price of pork has been at the forefront, whether it is price reduction or price increase, it will have a great impact on people's lives. Because of a swine fever last year, a large number of pigs died, pork was in short supply, and pork prices also rose rapidly. Now that the Spring Festival is coming, pork has always been the protagonist on our table, so the price of pork has gone up again. However, in the case of extremely expensive pork, there are also cheap pig's trotters at extremely low prices in Zhangzhou, Fujian. This obviously does not conform to the market rules, because of quality problems, many farmers who have bought it say that cheap goods are not good.

As mentioned above, the price of a catty in 8 yuan obviously does not meet the price of pig's trotters under the current situation, so it is difficult not to give some consideration to the source of these pork. These trotters probably belong to some dead pigs, sick pigs or old pigs. As the year is approaching, the price of pork has risen to 30-40 yuan a catty, which is less than 10 yuan a catty here. It is really too cheap. If it is cheap, it must be cheap. This batch of pig's trotters will definitely not come from pigs that have just been slaughtered. So it is very likely that it comes from those three kinds of pigs.

Pigs are sick, and treatment costs a lot of money, so many pig farmers will think it is better to sell them directly. Many sows are too old to have children and face the risk of being sold cheaply. Moreover, it is normal for sows to die when giving birth to piglets, and they will be sold by friends. Because the meat and trotters taken from these pigs are not so fresh and taste worse, they will be sold cheaper.

What's more, these trotters are all frozen, and there will be a lot of ice water left on them. When farmers buy them and thaw them, they will find that they are much lighter. In this regard, it makes sense for farmers to spit out cheap goods.
