Psychological nursing: Ascites formation is the late manifestation of liver cirrhosis. Most of these patients have been ill for a long time and have a heavy mental burden. Symptoms such as edema, palpitation, chest tightness, abdominal fullness and discomfort, and difficulty in walking appear in a short time, which makes patients feel depressed, nervous and fearful. At this time, we should try our best to eliminate patients' negative emotions, take the initiative to talk with patients, introduce successful cases of ascites patients being discharged from hospital, patiently and meticulously explain various problems to patients and their families, analyze the illness, explain the relevant knowledge of the disease, establish patients' confidence in treating the disease, and obtain close cooperation from patients.
Dietary care: give a diet rich in vitamins, high in calories, high in protein, digestible, non-irritating and low in cellulose, pay special attention to a low-salt or salt-free diet, and strictly limit the amount of water. The amount of water should be limited to about 65,438+0,000ml/d, the intake of sodium in the salt-free diet should not exceed 0.5g/d, and the intake of sodium in the low-salt diet should not exceed 2g/d. If the liver function is obviously damaged or there are signs of hepatic encephalopathy, protein should be restricted or fasting and alcohol should be prohibited to avoid rough, prickly and hard food, so as not to cause esophageal vein injury and bleeding.
General nursing: For patients with a large number of ascites, we should take a semi-recumbent position to reduce diaphragm, increase vital capacity, reduce pulmonary congestion, and give oxygen when necessary to relieve symptoms such as dyspnea and increased heart rate.
