Beihai:
Beihai, alias Zhucheng, is a prefecture-level city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Beihai was founded in the Republic of China 15 (1926). After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it successively belonged to Qinzhou District of Guangdong Province (Beihai City first, then Qinzhou Town), Qinzhou District of Guangxi Province (where Qinzhou Town and Lianzhou Town are located), Hepu District of Guangdong Province (where Lianzhou Town is located) and Qinzhou District of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Located at the southern tip of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the northeast bank of Beibu Gulf. Beihai is the earliest foreign trade port in China and one of the starting points of the Maritime Silk Road.
