Responsibilities: The Ministry of Health is mainly responsible for studying and formulating health laws, regulations, principles and policies, formulating health development plans and strategic objectives, supervising the implementation of technical specifications and health standards, coordinating the allocation of health resources throughout the country, guiding the implementation of health planning, and carrying out health education for all. The Health and Wellness Committee implements the principles, policies and decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee on health and wellness work, and adheres to and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party on health and wellness work. The Health and Health Commission integrates the health and health management functions undertaken by other departments, including but not limited to making plans for the prevention and control of infectious diseases and chronic non-communicable diseases, and managing the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
