What color is normal sperm?
The color of normal semen is grayish white or yellowish, and it is translucent milky white after liquefaction. Those who do not ejaculate for a long time may be slightly yellow. If the semen appears yellow-green, it indicates that there may be inflammation in the male reproductive tract or accessory gonad (such as prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis). If semen is red (including bright red, light red, dark red or soy sauce color), it is highly suspected that semen contains blood (blood essence). People with a large number of red blood cells can be diagnosed as hemospermia, which is common in patients with accessory gonad and posterior urethral inflammation, and occasionally in patients with tuberculosis or tumor.
