Opening hours: 08:00- 17:30. It is recommended to play for about 5 hours. During the epidemic, all tourists entering the scenic spot must wear masks and other protective equipment to visit. Attractions: Wanfo Lake is located in Shucheng County, Anhui Province, at the eastern foot of Dabie Mountain, 80 kilometers away from Hefei, the provincial capital. Formerly known as Longhekou Reservoir. It was named Wanfo Lake, because the huge Guanyin Rock near the lake and the 66 islands in the lake formed the magical scene of "all buddhas worship Guanyin", and because the water source came from the scenic Wanfo Mountain. Scenic spot 135 square kilometers, lake surface 50 square kilometers, core scenic spot 15 square kilometers. The water quality is national ground class II water. The tourism development of Wanfo Lake began at 1995. According to the strategy of "government-led, extroverted-driven, brand building, enriching the people and strengthening the county" and the principle of "protection first, scientific planning, rational development and sustainable utilization", with the concern and attention of leaders at all levels, it was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2006 after more than 10 years of development and construction. Transportation route: get on the train from the railway station and take [Jinzhai 207 Road] to [Nanwan Group Station]; Transfer to [Jinzhai 103 Road] and get off at [Power Station], and walk for 2.3 kilometers.
Introduction of scenic spots: Meishan Reservoir/KLOC-0 was completed in March 1954, and/KLOC-0 was completed in April 1956. The reservoir hub project consists of five parts: barrage, spillway, spillway tunnel, bottom hole and power station. It is a first-class reinforced concrete multi-arch dam designed and built by ourselves during the first five-year plan period in China. The dam is 88.24 meters high and 443.5 meters long. It consists of 15 pile and 16 arch. The basin area of the reservoir area is 1970 square kilometers, accounting for 28.6% of the total area of Shihe River basin, with a total storage capacity of 2.337 billion cubic meters. It is a key project in the Huaihe River Basin and a large-scale water conservancy project with comprehensive utilization functions such as flood control, irrigation, power generation, shipping, aquaculture and tourism.
