The wild giant panda was photographed for the first time in Tudiling, Maoxian County, Sichuan Province. What is it doing?

The giant panda is a unique species in China, and its main habitats are mountainous areas in China, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu. Due to scarcity, most of them have been kept in captivity in recent years, but yesterday, the Giant Panda National Park was opened to the public, and the wild giant panda was photographed for the first time in Tudiling, Sichuan!

According to the release of the Giant Panda National Park Administration in August 10, the infrared surveillance camera located in Tudiling Giant Panda Corridor, Maoxian County, Aba County, Sichuan Province captured the trail of wild giant pandas twice in a row. These two giant pandas are very cute. First of all, at about 6: 40 pm on August 9, the No.37 infrared camera located in the giant panda corridor in Tuziling captured an image of a giant panda's activities, but the giant panda in the camera kept his head down and was busy. What is he doing? Since I haven't seen its face, I guess it may be looking for food on the ground with its head down. Two days later, at about 3: 20 am on August 8, another giant panda was photographed by the No.22 infrared camera at a linear distance of about one kilometer from No.37 infrared camera. The giant panda saw the equipment that people put nearby and seemed to be interested in infrared rays. He comes close to the camera and smells it from time to time. According to the preliminary judgment of the staff, both pandas are healthy.

The Giant Panda Corridor is located in Maoxian County, Aba County, Sichuan Province. This is the junction of the two populations of giant panda Huya and Jiuding Mountain, and it is also the only passage for wild animals such as giant pandas in Minshan Mountain to travel north and south. The Giant Panda National Park invested 4.8 million yuan to build a field monitoring system in the Rabbit Ridge Giant Panda Corridor, which realized 24-hour uninterrupted and barrier-free monitoring of the habitat of the Rabbit Ridge Giant Panda Corridor in Mao County. Through the dynamic monitoring system, we can observe and record the migration, activities and reproduction of animals in the giant panda habitat, and also monitor people and vehicles entering and leaving this area to prevent poaching and protect wild animals such as giant pandas. In addition, effective forest fire prevention monitoring is also carried out in the monitoring area. 120 infrared camera is installed in the park. The precious pictures captured by the infrared camera also found photos of more than ten kinds of animals such as black bear, leopard cat and golden pheasant.
