Observation on the effect of tuiyi powder on swelling and pain relief in patients with closed fracture

Lead: Based on the basic theory of TCM? If you are in a hurry, treat your goal? Based on the principle of external treatment, the treatment of early swelling and pain symptoms in patients with closed fractures is increasingly favored.

Closed fracture means that the local mucosa and skin of the fracture are intact, and the fracture end is not communicated with the outside world [1]. Usually, fractures are often accompanied by different degrees of peripheral soft tissue injury, tendon injury, meridian injury, sudden muscle contraction, poor blood circulation, blood stasis and qi stagnation, pain if blocked, menstrual blood overflow and local cyanosis swelling. According to clinical statistics, the incidence of pain and swelling in fracture patients within 48 ~72 hours is above 95%. Suffering from pain and swelling, patients often suffer from anxiety and sleep disorder, which not only affects the healing of fractures, but also prolongs the treatment time and increases the chance of infection. The inpatients with closed fracture in our department from April 8, 2065 to April 8, 2065 were selected, and the external application of Tuiying Powder (the prescription agreed by our hospital) achieved satisfactory results.

1 data and methods

General data of 1 Patients with closed fractures hospitalized in our department from August 1 14 to August/20 15 were randomly divided into two groups, with 50 cases in the control group, including 4 cases of distal radius fracture, 0 cases of patella fracture, 0 cases of tibia fracture and 0 cases of kloc-0. There were 50 cases in the treatment group, including 5 cases of distal radius fracture, 5 cases of patella fracture 10, 5 cases of tibial plateau fracture 10, tibia and fibula fracture 10, and ankle fracture10.

1.2 processing method

1.2. 1 The control group was treated according to the norms of orthopedic diagnosis and treatment, and the fractures of different parts were treated by manual reduction, plaster fixation and traction fixation, combined with routine nursing, such as medication nursing, health education and functional exercise guidance.

1.2.2 On the basis of routine treatment and nursing, the treatment group used tuiying powder (the prescription agreed by our hospital) for external use at the fracture site. Tuiying powder is mainly composed of rhubarb, angelica dahurica, phellodendron amurense, scutellaria baicalensis and bauhinia. According to the operation flow of external application method [2], the patient's medical history, past history, drug allergy history and skin condition of external application site were evaluated. Usage: According to the swelling range of the fracture site, take a proper amount of Tuiying Powder and 20% glycerin mixture (1 glycerin +4 sterile water for injection), make it into paste, apply it to the fracture site, cover it with cotton paper, then fix it with bandage, and change it every 8 ~ 10 hour.

1. The three observation indexes were compared with the TCM symptoms and signs scores of the control group and the treatment group before and after treatment. The main observation items of TCM symptom and sign integral are pain, swelling and tenderness, with a score of 0 ~3. The higher the score, the more serious the symptoms.

Before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM symptoms and signs between the treatment group and the control group (P > 0). After treatment, the scores of TCM symptoms and signs were significantly different (P < 0). 05), see table 1.

3 discussion

Swelling and pain in patients with closed fractures are the earliest and most unbearable symptoms for most patients. Patients often stimulate the contraction of blood vessels and muscles through spinal cord medium and sympathetic nerve reflex due to swelling and pain, and the immune globulin of the body is reduced, endocrine function is disordered, and the body's resistance is reduced, which stimulates complications; In addition, pain and swelling not only seriously damage people's quality of life [3], but also cause bad psychological stimulation to people and affect the healing of fractures. Adjust the mood, keep the mood stable to actively cooperate with the treatment [4], and encourage the confidence to overcome the disease.

Based on the basic theory of Chinese medicine? If you are in a hurry, treat your goal? The principle of [5], the treatment of early swelling and pain in patients with closed fracture by external treatment is more and more popular. The use of tuiying powder (a prescription approved by our hospital) mixed with glycerol is beneficial to contact with skin, reduce skin irritation and enhance drug absorption and curative effect; Give full play to the functions of relieving pain, promoting swelling absorption, improving local tissue nutrition metabolism, promoting blood circulation and improving immunity, and the effect is remarkable. The Chinese herbal medicines used in Tuiying Powder have the functions of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, dredging collaterals, relieving pain, dredging meridians, directly permeating the skin, absorbing into diseased tissues, exerting drug effect, relieving pain, reducing swelling, relieving spasm, reducing adhesion and promoting healing. Simple operation, less adverse reactions, no adverse reactions compared with other drugs, worthy of clinical application.
