On April 29, 2020, the General Administration of Market Supervision (Standards Committee) issued an announcement, releasing a series of national standards for personal health information codes. This series of standards adopted the quick procedure of national standards, and it only took 14 days from project establishment to publication. After the implementation of this series of national standards, the coding system, display mode and data content of personal health information codes can be unified, and the protection of personal information and the enjoyment and utilization of information can be considered as a whole, which is suitable for guiding the design, development and system integration of health code-related information systems.
On March 16, 2020, at the 36th press conference held by the Zhejiang Provincial Government Information Office, Chen Guangsheng, executive deputy director of the Office of the Leading Group for Prevention and Control of Zhejiang Province and deputy secretary general of the provincial government, said that Zhejiang regards health codes as a weapon for fine classification and control, and according to the actual situation of returned overseas Chinese, international students and other foreigners in Zhejiang, the international version of health codes will be launched, which will be classified by orange, yellow and green until June.
